I hate washing it but food is done faster and better. I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system. The user manual is small, but complete, and includes a couple recipes. Slow Cooker Mode had a low, medium and high heat button. Basically if you follow Youtubers recipes, it's foolproof. I don't know if that's a glitch or the way it is designed.

Back to your regular programming with the original review. It also does not have all the features that this one has. I let it release naturally and have a perfectly cooked, tasty meal every time. - Twenty minutes as the Instant Pot got up to cooking pressure. Great to make soups as 3 qts is enough for the day w pleanty of leftovers. I looked at this item for a long time before I finally decided to buy it. But, as I'm sure most pressure cooker owners do, we survived.

Three new preset buttons- cake, egg, sterilize. Even so, I purchased a third because it does perform well overall. That explains why it was so danged delicious! It just has to be at least half full to cook correctly, I believe. Remember, ALL slow cookers get HOT on the outside as does this one. Then, if you're adding the trivet, you're losing another inch of space. But I moved on from that anxiety, and I set about putting this thing to work.

The first was programable, but didn't have a locking lid. Imagine you're cooking ALL of your meals with nothing bigger than a sauce pan. I put the filet on the rack and cooked it for 4 minutes. And you'll have to do that with any slow cooker. -Perfect for making a small meal for two or larger meals for a family of five. UPDATED- So I finally got the 6QT and oh. Then just throw it back in the pantry until next time.

Seriously this thing is a busy person's savior or in my case, a lazy person's dream! I bought the 3 qt mini for use in our camping trailer. I am a widower and never had to cook anything I'm my life until recently. I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. That was the great thing about crockpots. Warmer feature is super and it does not appear to be too hot. Maybe that's nitpicky but that's my honest review!

It will hold slightly more but the lid would then touch the liquid. After eating the yummy casserole the next day, I asked my daughter what was in it. Slow Cooker Mode had a low, medium and high heat button. The salmon was perfect and so yummy! Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system.

But, as I'm sure most pressure cooker owners do, we survived. And the people upstairs kept asking what smelled so great. Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system. Just had to order a stainless 3 qt. Easy to clean and the basic cook functions make it easy to use. The only con I can come up with is that it doesn't have a-light- to say it is on. It will hold slightly more but the lid would then touch the liquid.

I'll be the first to admit that I didn't count on the sheer size of the thing. Easy to clean and the basic cook functions make it easy to use. Seriously this thing is a busy person's savior or in my case, a lazy person's dream! I'm used to cook once a week for 5 days, you call it meal prep. Reheating leftovers is far easier to clean up than cooking a fresh meal. So really your cooking space is more like 2 quarts, like a small sauce pan. -Perfect for making a small meal for two or larger meals for a family of five.

This 8 quart Duo Plus came up as a daily deal thing, and I bought it. This gives me enough for 4 or 5 servings. Nice and BIG, of course, and as other reviews mentioned, HOT! Works fine, but now, with this one, i have the best of both worlds. I would buy this exact same Crock-Pot again, it works great. This is so simple to use and there are recipes galore. The first was programable, but didn't have a locking lid.

She cooked it in this Crock Pot on low heat overnight while we slept. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't count on the sheer size of the thing. First, our lid came with a hole in it. This is the perfect size for one or two people. And the lid's diameter is slightly smaller than a complete tight fit. Similar style, but now with locking lid. After 7 months with it, I am desperate to trade my 3Qt for the 6QT.

"GOT A BARGIN OF A DEAL."
Slow Cooker Mode had a low, medium and high heat button. The second works fine, but the temperature does not heat evenly. I really like the removable, dishwasher-safe stoneware insert. No mention ANYWHERE on the box, in the guide, or on the page we ordered from. IP came with some of the accessories you pay for on the PPCXL. It also does not have all the features that this one has. This one is plenty large enough and incredibly easy to use.

And you know, it can make like 2 gallons of yogurt or porridge or something, so. So exciting, because I don't have an oven.

The food I prepared didn't stick to the stoneware and it was super easy to clean. I vow never again to visit that webiste--it is just not worth the hassle. This is so easy to use, and it's the perfect size for one or two people. It WOULD if we locked it while cooking, but that's a no-no. I cooked two racks of BBQ pork back ribs.
